What is an     Account'

An Athens Account is a Single Password you can use to access medical literature, electronic resources and websites that you would normally have to pay to use. We administer 6 different accounts for Hospital Staff, Public Health Departments, GPs and Community Health Workers across Bedfordshire. 

Sign up for an Athens Password at https://openathens.nice.org.uk/. Select your organisation, and fill out your details as completely as possible as we may have to manually authorise your access. This can take 24 hours (but is usually quicker)

What do I have access to?

Different accounts have access to unique resources, and it can be sometimes difficult knowing exactly what you have access to as some resources are funded only for specific user groups. The below list is regularly updated to include which resources are available to you.
