'Phil' , the Patient Health Information Librarian visits the town library in Luton once a month. Phil is a trained clinical librarian, who is able to help you improve your 'Health Literacy'.

Luton Library Health Collection

Luton Libraries have a wide selection of books and leaflets with information to help you deal with health, well-being and mental health issues. Joining the library is simple and free, and there is no charge for borrowing books.

Luton Libraries also have a wide range of Health and Fitness eBooks along with over 80 Audiobooks on health-related topics.

NICE Evidence an online search engine that identifies relevant clinical, public health and social care guidance. Organisations achieving high standards in producing guidance can be identified on NHS Evidence by a seal of approval called an Accreditation Mark.
